De Langewieke school’s visit

On the 24th of this month Rollepaal’s headquarter (Dedemsvaart, The Netherlands) opened its doors to host the group 7a of primary school De Langewieke.

The purpose of the students’ visit was to get inspired to decide what kind of study they want to pursue in the future and to get an idea of what kind of work is done inside of Rollepaal’s 60 years old large buildings.

The 37 students, led by Michiel Timmerman Rollepaal’s production manager , were taken on a tour throughout our facilities where they saw how Rollepaal’s machines are made and what each machine does. More importantly, they witnessed how Rollepaal contributes to a better environment by its sustainable cost saving pipe extrusion solutions. The students were fascinated and enthusiastic and they asked many questions.

We closed the day hoping that with this visit we could transform to some extent our love of our work to the students to build the next generation that would continue fulfilling our mission in the future.

We are grateful to the organisers of De Week van de Techniek, to the management of the school De Langewieke, and of course to our involved colleagues.
