We find ourselves in an unprecedented time with the global pandemic of the COVID-19 virus. We know how difficult this is for everyone. We are all watching the development of the spread of the virus with increasing concern and uncertainty. We are doing everything we can to help slow and reduce the virus. We want to keep you updated on how we prepare and deal with this threat.
We have taken the needed measures from the onset, such as cutting all non-essential travel and prohibiting any visitors to our corporate offices and manufacturing sites. Next to this, we have strongly encouraged our employees to work from home if this is possible and keep practicing social distancing.
During the crisis, keeping up to date with this changing situation is critical. From the beginning, we have set up a Crisis Management Team. Every day brings new developments and our team reviews all our processes and makes adjustments when necessary. And in that process, we rely on agencies such as our own government and the World Health Organization (WHO) to help guide our actions. Recently, our government came out with a statement stating that extension of our current measures until 28th of April is essential to prevent further outbreak of the coronavirus. We fully support this statement. And therefore, we have adjusted our measures accordingly. Despite the current measures, we are still able to keep our production running.
Most of our employees are working from home and are all adjusting to a new virtual work environment. We want to ensure you that our dedicated employees are fully committed to provide the best support and assistance to our customers. We take our responsibility of serving you very seriously.
