Rollepaal is participating to ‘’de Week van de Techniek’’
For years, Rollepaal has been organizing tours and activities for students. Examples are the Alfa College tour or the visit of 15 girls on “Girlsday”. Now by participating in the ‘’Week van de Techniek’’, we want to show students how attractive it is to work for a company active in the high-tech industry.
De Week van de Techniek gives students, that have not yet decided what kind of study they want to pursue after secondary education the opportunity to look inside companies in their region (municipality of OMMEN and HARDENBERG in the Netherlands). By visiting a technical company, students can find out what is going on in those large buildings and experience what technology is around them.
On this occasion, we are very excited to host in the headquarter of Rollepaal on the 24th of this month the group 7a of primary school De Langewieke. During the visit, we will introduce the students to all disciplines within our Organization. They will have the chance to see how we work and how we contribute to our goal, “making clean water accessible for everyone”. In addition, seeing our machines, it will become obvious to them how we contribute to decreasing the ecological footprint of our industry.
We hope that after the visit some students will become inspired to further explore a future in working for a high-tech company like ours.
