Increasing market demand for large diameter foam core multilayer pipes has moved one of the largest pipe system producers in Europe to invest in the best solution available in the market.
Rollepaal the market leader in PVC Multilayer technology has successfully produced 400, 500 and 630mm SN 8 Multilayer pipes in their testing facility during a Factory Acceptance Test.
The 400, 500 and 630mm SN8 multilayer pipes where produced with K68 virgin skin material CaZn stabilised and a foam core layer with 100% post consumer scrap achieving cost savings of more then 25% compared to solid wall and meets all quality requirements according EN 13476-2.
Our latest generation RMD 20 die-head with 630mm tooling was used in combination with a Rollepaal T-REX 105-30 foam core extruder and a Rollepaal T-REX 75-33 skin extruder. Total output rate 1.100Kg/hr, skin core ratio 1/3 skins 2/3 core.
All the Rollepaal die-heads are able to produce high quality pipes against the lowest possible cost price per meter pipe in different PVC viscosity combinations with CaZn, OBS, Sn or Pb stabilizers, This in combination with the technology of adding high amounts of CaCO3 directly at the Extruder to improve pipe properties and reducing pipe cost further. It makes Rollepaal the partner for the future
